About Carer
Our Journey
Our mission is deeply rooted in offering a personalised, holistic care model that addresses the whole person, not just the disease.
We recognise that the journey through cancer treatment is fraught with not just physical but emotional, financial, and social challenges that deeply affect the patient’s quality of life and recovery.

We seamlessly incorporate non-clinical therapies into mainstream cancer treatment by managing the side-effects through tailored nutrition plans, dedicated physical therapy, empathetic mental health support and actionable financial guidance.
Our approach is meticulously designed to mitigate the harsh impacts of conventional treatment, elevate patient’s quality of life, improve treatment adherence and ease financial strains.
Our vision extends beyond merely altering care protocols; we aim to redefine the essence of cancer care itself. By holistically addressing the physical, psychological, and social-economic dimensions of healing, Carer sets a new paradigm — a standard where care is defined by compassion, personalisation and comprehensive support.
Our Pillars of Integrative Care
Conventional treatment methods that are intended to eliminate cancer cells often take away the good with the bad. With proof that cancer is predominantly a lifestyle-related condition, Carer is aimed at providing services through three key areas:
1. Clinical Nutrition
What you eat affects how well you recover

Food is medicine, but the wrong food can impede recovery. We provide you with a customised diet plan and access to a personal Onco Clinical Nutritionist who manages all your nutritional deficiencies, loss of appetite, digestive issues and other nutrition concerns to expedite recovery.
Focus Areas:
- Coping with treatment better
- Building immunity
- Overcoming nutritional deficiencies during and post treatment
- Improving appetite and weight
- Managing nausea, vomiting and digestive side effects
- Preventing weight gain, obesity and weight loss
2. Movement & Meditation
When in doubt, keep moving

Carer’s Movement & Meditation therapy uses Yogasanas, breathwork and meditation techniques tailored to cancer patients in order to manage pain, fatigue, lymphedema, neuropathy and movement to strengthen the body and mind.
Focus Areas:
- Effective pain management & enhanced mobility
- Improving muscle mass & strength
- Restoring balance to reduce fall injuries
- Decreasing fatigue and weakness
- Managing neuropathy (numbness in hands and feet)
- Managing lymphedema (swelling of limbs)
3. Mental Well-being
Change your mind, change your life

The mind plays an essential role in recovery and healing. Cancer is not only a physical illness but one which affects our psychological state of being. Carer’s Mental Health support provides access to counsellors specialising in cancer-related emotional and psychological support for patients and family members.
Focus Areas:
- Motivation to move on
- Fear of relapse
- Helping family members accept and create a positive environment to deal with the disease
- Stress, anxiety & depression
- Acceptance of the diagnosis
- Concentration and attention
